Es ist einfach „Musik mit zwei Gitarren“ oder „The Art Of The Duo“ oder „überirdisch schöne Gitarrenmusik“. Hexenmeister der Gitarre, Hohenpriester der Elektrogitarre – solche und ähnliche gewagte Bilder werden immer wieder aufgeboten, um die furiosen Auftritte von Sachse und Kropinski zu beschreiben. Beide sind Meister ihres Instruments und haben dieses in vollkommen unterschiedlicher Weise geprägt. Joe Sachse ist E-Gitarrist, der neben großer Fingerfertigkeit bei Bedarf auch Schraubenzieher und anderes Handwerkszeug einsetzt: ein Klangmechaniker. Uwe Kropinski hingegen ist ein feiner Akustiker, der seine Spezialität, parallel zum Zupfen der Saiten perkussiv auf dem Korpus zu klopfen, so virtuos beherrscht, dass Hörer meinen könnten, da spielen zwei. Ihre gemeinsame Musik ist weniger frei, mehr „instant composing“: Der Wille zur Form steigert die Lust am Ausbruch.

Jazz? Skirt? Blues? Classic? Free improvisation? All this and none of it. It’s simply „Music with Two Guitars“ or „The Art Of The Duo“ or „unearthly beautiful guitar music“. Warlock of guitar, high priest of electric guitar – such and similar daring images are offered again and again to describe the furious performances of Sachse and Kropinski. Both are masters of their instrument and have embossed it in completely different ways. Joe Sachse is an electric guitarist who, in addition to great dexterity, also uses screwdrivers and other hand tools when needed: a sound mechanic. Uwe Kropinski, on the other hand, is a fine acoustician who masters his speciality of knocking percussively on the body parallel to the plucking of the strings, so virtuoso that listeners could think that two play there. Their shared music is less free, more „instant composing“: the will to form increases the desire to break out.
